Sowing Depth: 2mm
Sow Spacing: 20 – 30 cm
Sowing Method: Surface sow and cover very lightly, be careful not to bury too deep. Easy to sow direct or in trays and once 5cm tall harden off and transplant outdoors. Be sure to avoid excessive root disturbance.
Position: Full sun
Germination Time: 7 – 21 days
Maintenance: It will re-seed for the following year if you allow it to go to seed. Remove the plant to avoid this occurring. Trim back to encourage a second flush of blooms during the season.

Dames Rocket is an old-fashioned garden favourite that is rarely seen today.
Ideal in use in borders, cottage gardens and meadow planting. Self-seed readily. Attracts honeybees and other beneficial insects.
A native wildflower to Southern Europe, Russia, and Western and Central Asia.
The flowers are edible and look great in salads but only the young leaves are edible. The older leaves are not edible.
This little beauty resembles Phlox, however is easily identified, Phlox has 5 petals as opposed to 4 with the Dame’s Rocket.
