Viola ‘Swiss Giant Ullswater’ is one of those plants you should always make room for in the garden. It’s a lovely old-fashioned viola with large, velvety flowers in shades of deep blue and violet, often with that classic dark centre. The colour really stands out in early spring when the rest of the garden is just beginning to wake up.
You can grow it in borders, containers, and especially near paths where you can appreciate the flowers up close. The Swiss Giant varieties are known for their bigger blooms compared to standard violas, so they give a really cheerful display.
