Sowing Method: Preferably indoors as seeds are sensitive to frost and won’t germinate. Sow in containers 7 – 10 weeks before the last frost; cover with humidity dome to retain moisture. Transfer or start outside when the possibility of cold frosts has passed.

They stand up well to wet weather, but like any cone flower they enjoy a sheltered sunny space. It’s perfect for growing in large border plantings and bedding. They make an excellent cut flower.
