Common Name: Strawflower, Golden Everlasting
Scientific Name: Helichrysum monstrosum
Physical Attributes: Brilliant native flowers with a texture similar to thick paper sits atop woody erect stems that will bloom until the first frost. Starting off as small buds and slowly exposing a feathery soft yellow center. Colours include pink, yellow, red and white variations.
Uses: Dried and fresh flowers. Beds and borders.

When to Sow: Spring or autumn in temperate climates
